If you’d rather solve real industry problems than sit through explanations of them, an Applied Degree may suit you better than a traditional lecture-and-exam degree. UNSW College offers Applied Degrees in Applied Business, Software Development, and Cyber Defence and Networking. There are no final exams — you’re assessed on industry projects, case studies, portfolios, and workplace simulations through the term, and you finish with a portfolio of industry skills you can show an employer. Teaching is concentrated into practical workshops, so full-time students are typically on campus two evenings or one day a week. Part-time study is available too. Each program has a Diploma and an Associate Degree built into it as qualifications. Come and hear how it all works.
